I can freely say all of this, and since kpop is going viral, worldwide, fans of all ethnic and different backgrounds come together to sing in a language we probably know or have NO clue how to speak in, or maybe just the basics, where we only sing what we think we hear lol.
But enough of that, as a fan of kpop, we and millions would truly want to know, will Korean idols dating foreigners idols date outside of their ethnic, experience a new background, something different, most the times i hear they would date, westerns if they could, or they would date out rheir race, but it's a let down when some of the artists i like go for the fair skin, long hair, green or blue eyed beauty. I, African American, feel sad about it, but i know deep down inside, there is plenty of non idol men who might like women of color.
Its hard cause, unless we were born multi ethnic or just use perms, we will either still have darker skin than most women in Korea. Also there is still, even though I've had so many people try and the whole excuse my French ladies Bullshit over and over again, "its
Korean idols dating foreigners new generation, racism doesn't even exist anymore, get over it". There is racism honey, some said its korea, just not educating their students at the proper grades of elementary of other backgrounds, but others say "they dont have to be forced to learn about someone elses country.
Even though another person backfired and said, some students learn American history already in South Korea, but not the full package of the history itself. Do back to the things i wanted to explain before, when ever an idol, express their love for different races they Korean idols dating foreigners for fair toned when, even Beyonce shes still darker shade and all, but what about Lauryn Hill, India Arie, or more specifically Lupita Nyong'o.
To me they seem way to scared to voice their opinions because of most fan girls reactions will be pretty harsh and disgusting. Well ive had my share of shawol fangirls ive ran into at ALLKPOP's site when SHINee's Kim KEY Kibum where to appear on the show, and at that time no one knew Korean idols dating foreigners he was going actually pick, or who the producer might pick, so i insisted on something different, while the fans were posting mostly korean-japanese-Chinese or rvrn European women.
It would be nice for a change tp see a Brazilian women, or a African American women, or Spanish women, to be keys date since he is quite the happy type seemed he would be the real chill type of guy. Then the replies were just so. It irked me, but then i thought about it til this day, even after that show aired, he was loud, and a bit whacky too, and random.
Lol look at jis instagram after all. I am am african American. And i am only attracted to asian guys. I want to have an asian family when
Korean idols dating foreigners get older. If you go on youtube and watch Blasian family videos, you can see how happy they are.
There are Japanese Black girls, Korean Black girls, etc etc. Michelle Lee is Korean African American. And you can see how she thrived and overcame the racism from her peers.
Korean idols dating foreigners K fans have a problem with idols dating outside of the race, then they are not true fans. You can't discriminate against a race who is dating your men. I hate that saying: We are expanding our horizons.
Some K fans are just racist and too traditional. It's the 21st century. You are too old schooled to be thinking like it's the Joseon's era. I think that inter-racial relationships would be flipping adorable. I'm straight the whitest white girl there ever was but I find Asians more attractive than Caucasians. Maybe that explains why I'm here lol But seriously my take on it is if two people like each other, they oughta get together.
I feel what you're saying. I think that Korean idols dating foreigners should date outside the race because normally when asked for ideal type its white skin and all. I have a thick waist and hips and im proud, even when they say they prefer long legs, and thin limbs. Im short and proud. I understand a lot although I am the "whitest" in my family the blackside I still think Korea needs to be more educated in how to respect other countries opinion and actions and also to be taught that staring openly and being racist isn't funny although that's how they view it.
As much as I love Korea not everything is as perfect as it seems and I hope Korea can accept diversity since they are getting more attention for their music.
As an African-American Korean idols dating foreigners i've also had this thought process when watching kpop. It was always there in the back of my mind.
I love kpop anyway though. Black people always be getting the racism issues the most, but hopefully in time more and more countries like South Korea may become more accepting of different races.
Thank you for posting this topic, and I agree! Any race can mix their tribe.
And it is not against the law. I find it so cool.
